About Lyn

Lyn has been a nurse and midwife in the NHS for over 40 years. She also is a senior lecturer in midwifery for Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. She is a qualified KGH hypnobirth teacher.

She founded the business in 2004 and has specialised in bridal hair and make up since 2007. Using Temptu silicon based airbrush foundation or the fantastic Arbonne range of foundations Athene’s brides achieve the natural flawless look that they like for their special day.

Why are we different?

Here at Athené we also offer a wide range of massage treatments from aromatherapy to sports injury massage.

All treatments are by appointment only which means we can offer the flexibility that some other salons can not.
