We are delighted to be able to offer the KGH online course for those of you who feel that this would be a better option for you.

What is Hypnobirthing?
Anxiety and fear serves to release stress hormones that counteract the natural hormones of labour. Techniques taught in the course provide you with the tools, knowledge and skills to overcome these fears and have trust and confidence in your bodies ability to birth your baby.
One on one classes can be booked for £350.
The Hypnobirthing course is a full antenatal education course that incorporates hypnobirthing. As a midwife offering this course I can offer a very personal tailored service so that it fits your individual needs. Courses can be run in the evenings, weekends or a mixture of both. We can also offer the 1:1 service from your own home (subject to availability).
An optional 5th session is also available on infant feeding and general baby care - at no extra cost.

These courses are approx. 12 hours in total.
Refresher session £80
This 3 hour session is for those parents who have previously undertaken a KGH hypnobirth course and will refresh your knowledge of the key elements of the hypnobirth course as well as looking at some techniques that can be used to create more space for your baby and optimise Physiology. Lyn was a fantastic teacher. I was very anxious about the birth and my husband was a little skeptical about hypnobirthing! But we chose the right teacher, and I'm so thankful for that.
We took a lot of time choosing her. As a medic, I wanted someone who had an awareness of the realities of labour and a balanced approach. As Lyn was a midwife and lectures midwifery students, she wasn't dismissive of the facts but also gently encouraged me to feel in more control of the whole experience.

I wanted to write to let you know about the fantastic hypnobirthing teacher I had through your company.
I suffer with anxiety and am very anxious about all things to do with medical procedures and hospitals generally, so I was extremely worried about the whole process of giving birth. I contacted Lyn Jones through your website and with some trepidation attended our first session. The way that Lyn delivered the course was exceptional, it was very accessible for both myself and my partner. Even after the first lesson, I could feel my anxieties starting to reduce.
Lyn encouraged me to practice, which I did daily and she gave me some really practical tips for relaxation. Alongside all of this, her knowledge because of her extensive background in midwifery, made her the most amazing hypnobirthing teacher. Her teaching along with your book allowed me to enjoy my pregnancy and feel positive about the birth of my baby. I ended up feeling excited about the process, not terrified as I had been before.
In the end, I ended up with much more intervention than I had ever wanted because there was low fluid around my baby, I therefore had to be induced. After a long labour, I could not get past 9cm (which it transpired was because baby's head was facing upwards and not tucked in) and I therefore had to have a caesarean section. However, Lyn taught me how to feel empowered and in control at all times and even provided support to my partner and I when we were making decisions about intervention we wanted during my labour. As Lyn always told me, hypnobirthing did not promise me the perfect birthing experience, but it empowered me to have the knowledge and skills to get the best experience for me at the time.
I would recommend her to anybody at all because she was, quite simply, wonderful.
